Dr Karl Morling
Doctor of chiropractic
My name is Dr Karl Morling and I have been working as a Chiropractor at Ayr Spinal Care since Feb 2016. I grew up in Norrköping, Sweden where I lived, studied and worked up to the age of 21, when I decided to move to the UK for further studies. My aim was to develop an increased understanding of the musculoskeletal and nervous system and to learn how best to treat back problems that I had seen family members suffer from. I first moved to Bournemouth, England where I graduated with a Bachelor in Human Science and then continued to Cardiff in South Wales, where I graduated with a Master of Chiropractic Degree from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic. During my years as a student and while working as a Chiropractor, I’ve had the opportunity to meet many inspiring and friendly people and thoroughly enjoy helping them with their pain on a daily basis. This is what makes this profession a fun and rewarding occupation. I look forward to continuing my work here in Ayr and welcome you to our clinic, where I hope that you will always have a positive experience.
Dr Hazel Baillie
Doctor of chiropractic
Hello. My name is Dr Hazel Baillie and I am your new Chiropractor at Ayr Spinal Care. I first began my Chiropractic journey working as a Chiropractic Assistant for 3 years in a Glasgow clinic, when I decided I wanted to study Chiropractic and become a Chiropractor myself. I could see what a difference Chiropractic care was making in the local community, helping people who were in discomfort and pain. I’ve always had a general interest in the human body and it’s design and ability to heal itself. Witnessing, first hand , how Chiropractic enabled this was like an epiphany for me. I felt this was my calling. I studied and graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in South Wales and during my 5 years there gained the in-depth knowledge required to apply Chiropractic. In my final year I got to serve the local community there in our in house clinic and helped many people from young to elderly. My focus now is to serve the community of Ayr and surrounding areas by applying my specialised skills and educating and guiding patients back to health by helping them to take control of their own health goals. I look forward to meeting you soon.
Practice manager/Chiropractic assistant
I have been Practice manager of Ayr Spinal Care for 11 years now. I feel extremely lucky to work in this environment as not only is it rewarding to watch our patients get fit and healthy, chiropractic care has really changed my personal life for the better.
Before discovering chiropractic care i didn’t really have any pain or discomfort in my body and I felt reasonably healthy. I didn’t realise the true meaning of the word healthy until I began getting adjusted. My sinuses which were always blocked started to clear up within a few adjustments and I stopped catching as many colds as I used to.
I found my adjustments particularly beneficial when I was pregnant with my daughter. As my bump grew bigger the curve in my spine increased and chiropractic care helped to ease the pressure on that area and helped balance everything out not to mention the fact that it simply kept me healthy in general throughout my pregnancy. I was always assured that if my body was functioning well my baby’s would be also.
My daughter was adjusted when she was only 7 hrs old and gets regular checks as does my husband. Chiropractic is a part of our lives and always will be.
It is such an honour to be part of a healing environment and to be surrounded by positive influences. People come to our clinic to get themselves healthy and to reduce their symptoms naturally without the need for drugs or surgery. I live as natural a life as I can thanks to all the information I have had on hand at Ayr Spinal Care and advice from the chiropractors who have worked here and inspired me throughout my 11 years here.
